JOURNEYING HOME TO GOD'S REIGN for Grade 6 is part of the grade school series GROWING UP AS CHRISTIANS IN GOD'S FAMILY authored by Dr. Agnes M. Brazal and colleagues.
This particular book provides the pupil an overview of the story of man's salvation as depicted in the Old and the New Testament stories. It traces the important events in the Old Testament leading up to the longing for the coming of the Messiah. It then focuses on Jesus as the promised Messiah, his inauguration of God's reign, and how the early Church witnessed to this in words and in deeds.
Dr. Brazal obtained her licentiate and doctorate in sacred theology at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium. She serves as full-time professor at the Maryhill School of Theology (MST)in Quezon City.
